I just finished watermarking all the photos i publicly uploaded for the OC meet. In turn, i created my own little photo name, and it will have to do since i wasnt very creative this evening. Anyways, i love the mirror on this subayota. Thats why it was photo worthy.
Stay tuned for tomorrow. Ill make a post here with about 30 or more pictures. And commentary where its needed.

Those wheels are the ones I want for my FRS!!! But I want mine in this color though.
Only problem is that they are 20lbs for 18x8.5. I am slight number whore, and want lighter wheels. #firstworldproblems

Haha no way. That color is much more mature.
And my wheels are about 16lbs. For 16"... They are heavier than the ones i had one before, and ive noticed no difference. Well the only difference is that its smoother at speeds above 70. But i think that was due to balancing issues..
Id get em. They are sexy. Especially staggered like that.

Staggered is nice but it causes the car to understeer. I don't like understeer. They do look damn sexy though, but I must remain function>form.

Holy hell, they come in the stock size?!? One of the only aftermarket wheels that comes in 17x7.

Are you looking at stock wheels sizes? Here is of the wheel's sizes and bolt patterns.

Yes, I'm trying to minimize unsprung mass and each corner's moment of inertia without affecting the stock grip levels.

I personally hate stock grip levels. I will be pulling out of an intersection and if I give it about 1/2 WOT, it will chirp away. Then there is autocross. In anycase. 8inches is best for grip for this car, I want 8.5 for a little extra sexiness. Your best bet for reducing unsprung weight is the brakes though.

Oooooo!! Tell me all the details!

DBA Clubspec 4000 T3 all around. Better steel, better looking, more rust resistant, and better cooling than stock.
Pairing them with a fresh set of Project Mu HC + 800 pads. Which I had a hell of a time finding in the U.S.

I am going to have to look into bigger rotors and better pads. Seem like a sound decision. Do you know how much lighter they are compared to stock?
![]() 09/10/2013 at 00:56 |

1-2 lbs per corner not sure of exact number. Due to the venting pattern, much less mass is concentrated at the outside edge. There is one better model (the DBA 5000 series) which is a bit lighter, but costs $360 per front rotor and I do not think they make rear rotors yet. At that price I'd just be tempted to save longer and get a BBK.
Mostly though I am interested in the increased cooling capacity.

I was looking at some wilwoods in a magazine. . . 1600! JEZUZ! I mostly want brakes for stopping power and lighter weight. Don't know if bigger brakes will help that much, I haven't done my research but when the time comes. . .
Hopefully your install will be a breeze.

It may wait a week or two, got a few other parts coming in. I'm going to try to install them all at once.
Expecting a full day
